Description

The remainder of November, and during our weekly prayers, we will be focusing on gratitude.

This week, we would like to show gratitude for who we have in our lives and everything we have.

Here’s a scripture that can help us pray this week,

“And on that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted." Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth (from Isaiah 12:4-5).

The most important thing we have is faith in God, our Lord and Savior.

Our Lord has done and continues to do wonders in our lives. And, God’s deeds go from the breath of life we all have to anything else, and anyone we presently have in our lives.

So, let us give thanks for all that through prayer.

“Heavenly Father,

I praise your name from all my inmost being. There are so many things you have done for me, for which I should always be thankful.

Today, I thank you for allowing me to be your child. Even when I do not seem to feel your presence, I always know that you are with me.

I also want to thank you for the people who are so close to my heart. For each one of them, I say, “thank you so much for bringing them into my life.”

For the others that you will bring into my life later, I thank you for each one of them too.

Help me draw closer to somebody who may need a friend that I can be a blessing to them.

Last, I want to thank you for what you are up to in my life the rest of this week. I cannot wait to see more of you, God, my Lord and Savior. In Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
