This week, we are praying for those who are hurting, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially.
Also, we continue praying for the people in Bosconia that God helps them heal from the damages from the flooding.
That’s one cause for people to hurt. But, there are many others who are also hurting, and that includes you and I too.
The truth is that there are endless reasons that may have caused you to be hurting today.
Our time together during this time of prayer is to help you bring your hurts to God through Christ.
Before we pray, let us read this scripture from Psalm 103:2-3,
Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
Part of healing, according the word of God, requires us first to place our trust and keep our eyes on God.
Also, God’s word wants us to forgive ourselves, and others, just as God has forgiven us.
Let us pray:
O God, my Lord and Healer,
Blessed be your name for all the goodness you show to me even when I do not notice it. You forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases. Through Christ, you take my hurts away and heal me.
You have borne my griefs, sorrows, and pains through Christ’s death and resurrection. He was wounded so that I can experience complete healing and be made whole.
Your word heals me, and because I choose to believe your word, you heal me and deliver me from anything that hurts me.
Thank you for listening to me today. Thank you for renewing my mind and healing my soul. Thank you for healing my body and setting me free from any bondage of illness and sin.
In Christ’ name, I pray. Amen.
