Today (Wednesday, February 16 2022), we are asking God to reassure us of His presence every single day of our lives.
A reading from Matthew 28:20,
“I will be with you always, even until the end of this age.
Let us pray:
O Heavenly Father,
This day, I want to thank you for the so many blessings I have received from you. I thank you for the gift of family, and friends. Thank you for what and who I have in my life today.
Life hasn’t been easy though. With ups and downs that life brings about, sometimes, I forget to be thankful. But, gratitude, in itself, is therapeutic. It’s also something I ask you to help me with this day. I want to show gratitude to you no matter what I go through.
More importantly, I need the assurance of your presence as I go through this week. You alone can help me see you. Open my eyes and help me focus only on you.
Draw me closer to you so that I can hear your voice and experience your touch, which restores me. Your presence heals all the broken pieces of who I am. Help me today see you in everything I do and everywhere I may go. Help me see you in every person I encounter this day.
In Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.

“Yo estaré con vosotros siempre, incluso hasta el fin de este siglo.
Oremos:
Oh Padre Celestial,
Este día quiero agradecerte por tantas bendiciones que he recibido de ti. Les agradezco el regalo de la familia y los amigos. Gracias por lo que ya tengo en mi vida.
Sin embargo, la vida no ha sido fácil. Con los altibajos que trae, a veces me olvido de estar agradecido. La gratitud, en sí misma, es terapéutica. Pero también es algo con lo que te pido que me ayudes este día. Quiero mostrarte gratitud sin importar lo que pase.
Más importante aún, necesito la seguridad de tu presencia a lo largo de esta semana. Solo tú puedes ayudarme a verte. Abre mis ojos y ayúdame a concentrarme solo en ti.
Acércame a ti para que pueda escuchar tu voz y experimentar tu toque, que me restaura. Tu presencia cura todas las piezas rotas de lo que soy. Ayúdame hoy a verte en todo lo que hago y donde quiera que vaya. Ayúdame a verte en cada persona que encuentre este día.
