Welcome and thank you for joining us as we spend the next few moments in prayer for healing and direction.
Today (Wednesday, February 23 2022), we are praying God to grant us peace of mind and calm our troubled heart.
A reading from Psalm 42:11,
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Let us pray:
Loving God, I ask and pray you give me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. I am like in a turbulent sea and need balance so that I do not stumble and constantly continue feeling worried. Grant me your strength and clarity of mind so that I know my purpose and walk the path you have designed for me.
There’s so much clutter that often fills my mind, and as a result, I feel unfocused and distracted. Help me, O Lord. I seek clarity of mind in your grace. May your mercy sink in and saturate my soul. When I am in doubt, help my unbelief, and draw me closer to you. Keep me in a place of humility that I stand firm only upon the strength that comes from you.
Let your grace shine over me that I see clearly now. Help me remember that I am always loved and free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

¿Por qué, alma mía, estás abatida? ¿Por qué tan perturbado dentro de mí? Poned vuestra esperanza en Dios, porque aún he de alabarle, mi Salvador y mi Dios.
Oremos:
Amado Dios, te pido y ruego que me des paz mental y calmes mi corazón atribulado. Estoy como en un mar turbulento y necesito equilibrio para no tropezar y seguir sintiéndome constantemente preocupado. Concédeme tu fuerza y claridad de mente para que conozca mi propósito y camine por el camino que has diseñado para mí.
Hay tanto desorden que a menudo llena mi mente y, como resultado, me siento desenfocado y distraído. Ayúdame, oh Señor. Busco claridad mental en tu gracia. Que tu misericordia penetre y sature mi alma. Cuando tenga dudas, ayuda mi incredulidad y acércame a ti. Guárdame en un lugar de humildad en el que me mantenga firme solo en la fuerza que viene de ti.
Deja que tu gracia brille sobre mí que ahora veo claramente. Ayúdame a recordar que siempre soy amado y libre. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
