Welcome and thank you for joining us as we spend the next few moments in prayer for healing and direction.
Today (Wednesday, March 2 2022), we are praying God to help us move from victim to victorious.
A reading from the Gospel according to John 16:33,
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Let us pray:
O God, my Creator,
I come to you in prayer today seeking dignity through your healing mercy. I am your child and very thankful for having you as my Father and Maker.
Sometimes, and when I am hurt or seriously wounded, I feel so lost. It often seems like I am in the final chapter of my life. Also, life seems to be unfair to me. I feel like I am a victim. But, that’s not who you made me to be, a victim.
Lift me up again. Heal me, give me strength, and help me move from whatever prevents me from experiencing your victory in my life. You give meaning even when I cannot make sense of what I face in life. And, you do it because you love me.
You show your love through Christ. His death and resurrection are the source of my hope. As a result, God, and through what Christ has done for me, you have made a victor, not a victim. I am victorious because, my God and Heavenly Father, is in control of every single thing that happens to me. My God makes all things work for my good and according to God’s plan for my life. So, I thank you for that and ask in Christ’s name. Amen.

"Estas cosas os he dicho para que en mí tengáis paz. En este mundo tendréis aflicción. Pero confiad, yo he vencido al mundo".
Oremos:
Oh Dios, mi Creador,
Vengo a ti en oración hoy buscando dignidad a través de tu misericordia sanadora. Soy tu hijo y estoy muy agradecido por tenerte como mi Padre y Hacedor.
A veces, y cuando estoy herido, me siento tan perdido. parece que estoy en el capítulo final y parece que la vida es injusta conmigo. Siento que soy una víctima. Pero, eso no es lo que qu’inertes que sea víctima.
Levántame de nuevo. Sáname, dame fuerza y ayúdame a salir de lo que sea que me impida experimentar tu victoria en mi vida. Tú das significado incluso cuando no puedo entender lo que enfrento en la vida. Y lo haces porque me amas.
Tú muestras tu amor a través de Cristo. Su muerte y resurrección son la fuente de mi esperanza. Como resultado, Dios, y por lo que Cristo ha hecho por mí, me has hecho un vencedor, no una víctima. Soy victorioso porque, mi Dios y Padre Celestial, tiene el control de cada cosa que me sucede. Mi Dios hace que todas las cosas obren para mi bien y de acuerdo al plan de Dios para mi vida., te agradezco por eso y te lo pido en el nombre de Cristo. Amén.
