Patty Hess of Stone Ridge lost her FDNY husband, LT. Robert Hess, to 9/11 related cancer 8 years ago when he was just 46 and left behind 4 children. We pay tribute to the great life he led. We have lost more than 180 FDNY’ers SINCE 9/11 and 2-thousand are (shockingly!!) now ill.
