4 years ago 18 year old Conrad Roy died after getting a slew of texts from his 17 year old girlfriend Michelle Carter encouraging him to commit suicide. Carter is currently serving a 15 month prison term for involuntary manslaughter but has taken her appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. Erin Lee Carr’s 2-part documentary about the case, “I Love You, Now Die,” is currently on HBO and its platforms.
