Sundance winner “We The Animals” is being called this year’s “Moonlight.” Quite the props, huh? Co-writer/director Jeremiah Zagar joins me to discuss the movie based on Justin Torres’ semi-autobiographical 2011 novel. It’s a coming-of-ager told through the voice of the youngest son of teenage parents. The Dad is Puerto Rican. The mom is Irish-Italian.
