The Prophet Habakkuk's prayer of faith is a very timely prayer. During his time the nation of Judah was in moral and spiritual decline. There was much injustice, corruption, and wickedness and there was an impending war ahead. Habakkuk's heart was deeply grieved and cried out for God's help and for mercy. Though the world was in chaos and seemed to be on the edge of disaster Habakkuk cried out to God in faith, received an answer, and chose joy and in hope in the God of His salvation.
