[Today: Exodus 23] Exposing Falsehood. In chapter 23 of Exodus we find laws relating to false witness and dishonesty. As believers we are to keep ourselves far from what this chapter identifies as a “false matter.” Spiritually speaking Jesus is our truth. Our truth is a person. Thus for the believer even things that are factual that contradict the character of Christ are a lie. This chapter addresses how these things are to be dealt with.
