Today: Genesis 11: The Building of Babylon: In chapter 11 of Genesis, we find the account of the building of the tower of Babel in v. 1-10 and the remainder of the chapter is a detailed genealogy from Shem to Abraham. This is the first narrative division of the book of Genesis as chapters 1-10 cover the creation to the flood, and now this chapter serves as the lynchpin between the flood and the life of Abraham.
