Today: [Matthew 17] Are YOU Going to be Transfigured? In Matthew 17, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John to a secret place and is transformed in their presence. The language and imagery of the transfiguration point tantalizingly to something of God that is yet to be experienced by men upon the earth. Yet, in the experience, Jesus warns the men not to repeat what they have experienced until a later time. Is there something of this account that points to a personal experience yet to be made available to you and me?
