[Today: Numbers 3] The Priesthood of the Believer. In Numbers, chapter three, God instructs Moses about the duties of the tribe of Levi. The Levites were appointed by God to be a tribe of priests. The scriptures are replete with references to the priesthood of the believer in the New Covenant. You are a priest of the Most High God. What is your responsibility? As a priest, what are your duties? What is the nature of your service to God? Being born again is not merely about being a consumer of kingdom benefit. You have a ministry portion on your life, and in this chapter, we see a reflection of the aspect of your calling that constitutes your role in a Holy Priesthood before God.
