Self compassion is necessary. Taking time for yourself is always necessary. Being kind to yourself and speaking kind to your self is a part of what makes you better. For me I have struggled with self compassion, but now I find myself showing gratitude and giving morning gratitude affirmations to make my process and self compassion more fulfilling. I’m not perfect and I don’t try to be, and so the journey never ends to be the better self. It can be hard being self compassionate because sometimes we have to confront things in our past.
