For about nine months, he went to church, still dealing with drug and alcohol addictions. A family member attempted suicide by overdosing on pills; Pastor Ring started crying out to the Lord, asking for strength. Not long after, he encountered God in an incredible way at an altar call at church. At that moment, he shares how he found the end of himself and surrendered his life to Jesus. Pastor Ring went on to work in the ministry but continued to have doubts about his calling in life. During the funeral of a powerful man of God, Pastor Ring felt the weight of the glory of God fall on top of him, calling him into ministry. After that, he realized, all the things of the earth will pass away, but your relationship and faith with God are what will last forever.
