The phenomenon of falling birth and fertility rates knows no borders. Across boundaries and cultures, the rate of new births is dwindling at an alarming rate. As the implications of this phenomenon become clearer, people are beginning to ask questions. What could be causing this decline in fertility and birth rates? What consequences could this have on the population? In this episode I review the issue around failing fertility rates and provide answers to some of these questions.
