With artificial intelligence (AI) gaining traction in music and gaming, many people are unaware of the way it is increasingly used in the hiring process. As robotics and automation continue to develop, companies across the nation are turning to AI in order to streamline and improve the recruitment and interview process. However, there exists a dark side to this technology: AI can introduce bias into the hiring process, placing certain individuals at an unfair disadvantage. In this episode I discuss AI in the hiring, process, some of the criticisms and ways indiividuals and companies can combat this dangerous trend.
