Source of income discrimination is an ongoing issue. Despite protections under laws like the Fair Housing Act, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, and familial status, source of income discrimination is not universally covered, leaving many vulnerable groups without adequate recourse.
