In this special episode celebrating books, Nancy and Jose are joined by Dorcy Rose, the Manager of Events & Programming, and Fiona Leung, the Director of Events, for the San Diego Union- Tribune. Dorcy and Fiona joined the show to discuss the upcoming Festival of Books on August 19th at the University of San Diego.

During the episode you'll hear about the over 80 local and national authors appearing live and virtually at the Festival of Books. Constructed as a hybrid experience with live, prerecorded on demand, and live streaming presentations, the Festival of Books is chock full of activities for book lovers, literacy champions, families, and children! Dorcy and Fiona also reveal that the one and only Bernie Taupin, the songwriting partner to Elton John, will be at the Festival!
