1969 metų lapkričio 15-tą Tampoje, Floridoje iškart po koncerto grimo kambary policija suėmė Janis Joplin. Bilietai į tuo metu dvidešimt šešerių Joplin pasirodymą kainavo nuo 4 iki 6 dolerių.
