Apologies for the late episode! I intended on getting this one out on my usual Thursday release day.
In this episode, I model what a daily check-in looks and sounds like:
- I start by taking a few deep, intentional breaths
- I then do a body scan and describe what the sensations feel like in my body, with context
- Then I articulate how I am feeling, emotionally, with some acknowledgement of external circumstances that may be colouring my emotions.
Checking in like this is a very worthwhile, grounding thing to do.
