THE KEEPER shines a light on the pressing issue of veteran suicide. The film is based on the true story of one Army veteran, George Eshleman, who challenged by his own demons and searching for answers, set out to hike the entire Appalachian Trail while carrying 363 military name tapes from military members who committed suicide. Hiking the Appalachian Trail was no trivial undertaking as even for experienced hikers, of which George was not one, can take up to seven months. Army veteran George Eshleman joined MIke Pomp on the Morning Information Center to chat about the experience and the new movie THE KEEPER.
