Known for his antics in and out of the ring, including his drug problems and a fight with police outside a bar, the pro wrestler was a multiple-time heavyweight champion. He was also known as "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer but used the name "Bulldog" Buzz Sawyer during a brief run in the WWF (Maurice Vachon was using the "Mad Dog" moniker at the same time).
