The two-time Academy Award nominee started out doing stunts in films and TV shows. For his contributions to the entertainment industry, he received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1992 and was inducted into the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum's Hall of Great Western Performers in 1997.
