The groundbreaking political discussion program was known for its loud, sparring arguments amongst panelists. John McLaughlin hosted the program from its inception in 1982 until his death in 2016, after which the original show came to an end. The show was revived in 2018 with new host Tom Rogan but went on indefinite hiatus toward the end of 2020.
