In this episode, we spotlight IFAS the UK’s Institute for Addressing Strangulation. Established in October 2022 as part of the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine and funded by the Home Office, IFAS is dedicated to raising awareness around strangulation and suffocation, and turning it into a standalone criminal offence under the Domestic Abuse Act (2021)
