In Napa Valley, local regulators, described as an “eco mob,” are penalizing wineries for planting trees, making jam and conducting wine tastings on their own land to prevent climate change. Video game designers now include climate change “catastrophes,” so only players using renewable energy can win the game.
Ironically, some environmentalists noted that a recent study by the World Bank showed that moving toward 100% solar, wind, and electric battery energy would be “just as destructive to the planet as fossil fuels.”
Is the push towards a net carbon future based on economic and scientific realities or “fudged” estimates that promote specific agendas?
