Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Today, we are witnessing strange happenings on a global scale.
People, muslims and non-muslims alike, are losing hope in these increasingly difficult times.
Despite the Signs pointing towards repentance and God-Consciousness, most are still with the egoistic-self, straying further from Truth, while only a small minority are with Allah ﷻ, seeking to attain His ﷻ Pleasure.
The New Hijri Year has arrived and those who had a wonderful year in 1442H were ones with Allah ﷻ, busying themselves towards good behaviour, striving to cleanse undesirable traits.
Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Adilق has, in numerous sohbahs, reminded us to remain hopeful and focused on our journey towards Allah ﷻ.
Mawlanaق gave clear solutions to staying safe in these times. Heق said, as the ant in Surah Naml said to her colony, stay home as much as possible and not to find reasons to go out in the midst of fitan (discord).
(Quran 27 : V 18) قَالَتۡ نَمۡلَةٌ يّٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّمۡلُ ادۡخُلُوۡا مَسٰكِنَكُمۡۚ لَا يَحۡطِمَنَّكُمۡ سُلَيۡمٰنُ وَجُنُوۡدُهٗۙ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ,
And the Ant called out, “Oh Ants, Enter your houses. In case Sulaiman (A.S) and his armies crush you unknowingly, unwittingly, without knowing.”
Keep in the safety of your homes and use this time of seclusion to be in closeness with Our Sustainer, finding happiness in devotions of zikrullah and reciting the Holy Quran.
Mawlanaق also said to seek advice from specialists/experts in any matters (ahli). Stay away from worthless information on social media and activities that take us off the path towards Allah ﷻ.
Be steadfast on the Way of Allah ﷻ. Keep your Trust in Him ﷻ and do not be fooled into hopelessness, thinking falsehood has triumphed over the Perfect Power of Allah ﷻ. Far from it!
In reality, everything happens by His ﷻ Will alone. None can subjugate the Sovereignty of Allah ﷻ.
(Quran 8: V30),وَيَمۡكُرُوۡنَ وَيَمۡكُرُ اللّٰهُؕ وَاللّٰهُ خَيۡرُ الۡمٰكِرِيۡنَ
They plot and plan, and Allah Plots and Plans. And Allah is the Best of Planners.
Take this time we are given to ponder about the certainty of death and make preparations, cleansing the bad behaviour, longing for everlasting happiness with Allah ﷻ. Ask Him ﷻ to keep you focused on His ﷻ True Path.
Be hopeful! Trust in Allah ﷻ, He ﷻ is Enough for you.
May Allah ﷻ keep us steadfast in this Way, strengthen our Iman and Help us to remain hopeful in Him ﷻ no matter the difficulty, holding on to the firm handhold of our Guide.
