Elisa was born addicted to crack cocaine. Her father tried to protect her from the abuse of her own mother by gaining custody of his daughter. Throughout his entire life he fought tirelessly for his daughters safety but when her father suffers a tragic ending, Elisa is thrown into the care of her mother regardless of the evidence outlining her abuse. Sweet Elisa never stood a chance against her own mom.
