We all pass through dark days at one time or the other in life when it seems everything is over, and our faith is shaken. Jesus disciples experienced similar situation after Judas Iscariot betrayed Him. At that point, they all fled and even Peter who had vowed never to deny Him denied Him. That was a salient time for them as they found themselves separated from their Lord.
We pass through similar challenges today. But we must learn to be confident and stay steadfast instead of denying our faith.
God has given us a promise. In John 16:33, Jesus himself said; “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”.
There are bound to be troubles in life but God has promised us peace. As you pass through challenges, be steadfast in faith and enjoy the peace of God.
