During three seasons as the Bears head coach, Eberflus' career head coaching record was 14 wins & 32 losses. Eberflus' firing comes at the heels of the Bears losing to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. After the loss, Eberflus faced heavy criticism and was questioned for not taking the team's final timeout in the game. Eberflus becomes the first Bears head coach to be fired in the middle of the season.
