Description

Jim Knowles' first season as Ohio State's defensive coordinator represented a significant improvement over the previous iteration of the Buckeyes' defense... at least until the last two games of the season.

And while many fans have pointed to big plays as the key issue in 2022, Devin Radcliffe of BuckeyeHuddle.com says there's more to it. He thinks OSU's defense was not complex enough to offer tools to defend the better offenses on the schedule.

So will that be improved in 2023? And how do you find the happy middle ground between a system that's too simple and one that's too complex for players to be able to run quickly?

Devin joins host Tom Orr to discuss that and much more.
