Nicholas Cage, Nicholas Hoult and Awkafina stars in the horror comedy Renfield. The story unfolds as Dracula's bitch Renfield is tired of the unpaid, toxic, dysfunctional narcissist/ enabling supernatural relationship. After moving to New Orleans, Renfield joins a support group, meeting others with the same issues. In this flat, hit and miss horror comedy almost fell asleep. Awkafina shines, overshadow both Nicholases' in her first horror film. Here my thoughts and review over the revamping Universal OG monsters to a new audience.
