Married five times, this woman often referred to the abuse she suffered from the hands of her former husband. She was convicted in 1985 of murdering the fifth and final of these husbands named Jimmy Don Beets.
She was also suspected of killing her ex-husband Doyle Wayne Barker and the remains of both men would be discovered on her property.
But that leaves the question, were her actions committed in self defense or were they of a colder, more nefarious nature?
