Description

We have a special guest today by the name of Colton Brockbank, who discusses lots of beautiful issues to help us come into a space of knowing deeper who we are, recognizing our own patterns and how we can be the catalyst for changing those patterns. Colton grew up in a chaotic home, so from a very young age he took on qualities of being a people pleaser and taking care of people, which was a blessing and a curse. He developed a deep sense of understanding for what people were feeling and thinking, and this really affected his life such as in dating when he always knew what the girls he was with were feeling or thinking concerning him. Colton’s brother had anxiety and depression, and eventually ended up overdosing on a night that Colton felt he should check in with him. Since then, Colton has developed a deep desire to help people like his brother who struggle with mental health.

“I think if there was a word that best described me in my being, it’s probably being connected. If I’m connected, then I know that I’m in a good state of being. If I’m not, I know I’m probably worried about something, or frustrated about something, or even have an idea of where I want things to go and I need to focus on that. If I’m connected and I’m actually connected to somebody or myself, then I’m usually in a pretty good flow state.” 30:30
