Description

Around 9:30 pm, on December 27th, 2011, just off Highway H on a dead-end drive in Troy, Missouri, a man named Russ Faria came home from a game night with friends to find his wife, Betsy Faria, stabbed to death. Initially, Russ thought that Betsy had killed herself, as he could not see the extent of her injuries (she was stabbed 55 times,) and she was suffering from Stage 4 cancer and had attempted to do so twice before. But then, Betsy's death was ruled a homicide and Russ was the prime suspect. While Russ sat behind bars, another character would emerge...a woman by the name of Pamela Hupp, who was an acquaintance of Betsy's and had been the last person to see her before she died. As police slowly uncovered who Pam Hupp really was, they realized she was more of a conniving, manipulating and murderous monster than the unassuming wife and mother she pretended to be. And Betsy's killing would not be her last...not even close...Show Notes:https://open.spotify.com/show/6ggmbItu0L9fPaRU3OmsCKhttps://www.stlmag.com/longform/pam-hupp/Thank you to our sponsors:Deep Sentinelhttps://www.deepsentinel.com/Beacon https://www.beacon.site/HelpYouFind.Mewww.HelpYouFind.Me/missouri15Smells Like HumansLike spending time with funny friends talking about curious human behavior.
