(0:47) We're joined by regular guest Em Dixon to talk about the rainbow of spirituality. Spirituality has many traditions, paths, and perspectives but they all have something in common - ways people try to make sense of life and connect with something bigger.

(12:08) Also, in August of 1942 Truro was struck by a bombing raid that hit the old Royal Infirmary, claiming ten lives and injuring many. Charlie went along to Victoria Gardens with Armed Forces Network Chair John lague to reflect and commemorate the impact that the bombing had on the City of Truro. 

(18:04) This year marks 80 years since Victory over Japan which signalled the end of the second World War - also known as VJ-80 day. This Friday on August 15th will be a moment to reflect on the sacrifice made and the lasting impact of the war. I spoke with John about why this anniversary still matters today and how it’s being commemorated.
