Closing out my #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth💜 series is a childhood friend of mine who bravely shares her story of being in an abusive relationship with the father of her children for over a decade & how she's been able to THRIVE after leaving!
Elisa Hernandez is a single mother of 3 amazing children. Balancing motherhood, womanhood, work and life in general, she is out here thriving more than ever. Although life hasn’t always been the best to her, she always finds the brighter side in every challenge she faces. Elisa is here to shed light on her story of surviving physical, verbal & mental abuse in a past relationship, along with drug use, addiction and so much more. She wants to shine the light on how she’s evolved and overcame such traumatic experiences through self love and how it’s never too late to start over. She’s hoping to help and encourage at least one woman out there who resonates with her story. You can follow Elisa on Instagram & Twitter.
There are so many of us who have gone through such horrible experiences with the people we loved, but we're here to show the world that it's possible to THRIVE after leaving an abusive relationship. Remember this, sis... it is NEVER too late to start over🫶🏼
