#MentalHealthAwarenessMonth has been recognized in the U.S. since 1949. Every year during the month of May, millions join the national movement to raise awareness about mental health to fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for policies that support the millions of people in the U.S. affected by mental illness. This week we're talking all things mental health with Latina therapist Araceli Vidales.
Araceli is first-generation Latina licensed Psychotherapist in California, Nevada and New Hampshire who helps her clients balance their career and family life. As a mother, wife, and working professional, she understands the struggle of trying to balance and do it all. She’s here to listen and support you as you get to know you again. In therapy, her approach is to look at you as a person within a larger system that consists of your family and society. She’s EMDR and Trauma-Informed trained and uses various modalities depending on the clients needs, such as CBT, Psychodynamic, and Narrative therapy.
You can follow Araceli on Instagram, TikTok and her website.
