We may have stumbled upon the first horror spoof comedy movie of all time, 1981’s parody slasher film ‘Student Bodies’. Imagine if Friday the 13th, Prom Night, and Scary movie all had a baby, that’s how to frame this film, but what happens throughout the runtime is sheer insanity. Alec and Erik are also joined by Roland from the Veterans With Benefits podcast, who hadn’t seen this film in 30 years, but remembered it fondly. To use his own words “I’m like the big brother you guys never had!” So grab your favorite horse head bookend, slap on some green rubber gloves, and enjoy this bizarre, but funny 80’s horror comedy that walked, so that Scary Movie could run.
