A mass hunger strike by Kurdish prisoners in Turkey started on Monday, and is set to continue well into 2024 or until demands are met for an immediate resolution to the Kurdish issue and freedom for Kurdistan Workers' party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ă–calan.
