It all started with the 2023 Spring Campaign Balenciaga put out to promote their Holiday Gift Shop. Once people saw BDSM teddy bears in images taken with children, the public became outraged, accusing Balenciaga of sexualizing children. This led online sleuths on a journey down the Balenciaga rabbit hole finding even more disturbing images. Some even containing documents of a court case about child pornography.
