6 year olds should not have to be heroes. Today we are talking about Ruby Bridges and her book "Through My Eyes" which describes her experience being the first black kid in an all white elementary school in Louisianna. Everyone needs to go read this book (and cry) because it's important to remember that this was not that long ago and is still very relevant!
