As we enter the final weeks of Easter, we also anticipate the coming of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus promised to be our Advocate who will stay with us forever. The Spirit of truth will continue directing and aiding the Church to preserve the faith, doctrine and morals which Christ taught His apostles. Despite the weaknesses and waywardness of her members, the Blessed Trinity continues to purify and sanctify the people of God. It is for you and me that the Holy Spirit is at work this very day. Send forth your Spirit, Oh Lord, and renew the face of the earth! Join the universal Church in praying the Office of Lauds, wherever you are.
