Upon sending them out in His name, Jesus instructs the Twelve to bless the people who will welcome them with open hearts by their works of healing and other miracles, all without cost. In turn, upon seeing their poverty, the people will bless them by supplying the disciples' needs. In this exchange is the kingdom of heaven visible in the world.
