Description

I played "King of the jungle" on cassette and sang along at the top of my lungs when it popped on the radio. When our family took a big leap of faith, I remember downloading "Saddle up your horses" on my phone and it filled me with the courage I needed to blaze that new trail. When my kids were toddlers, we'd jump in the waves together. I'd hold tightly to their little hands and sing, "Hold on to Jesus," and feel swept up in the love of God, deep as an ocean you could step into. When my precious Ma was diagnosed with cancer, the lyrics to "His strength is perfect," swam up in my mind and I listened to that song on repeat. Steven Curtis Chapman's songs are strung like pearls on the necklace in my life... and I bet yours too! He stopped by the radio station just before embarking on a cruise to Alaska with his wife Mary Beth! I invite you to join Steven, Steve, and I for a sweet conversation about not losing heart in this world, his special "grandpa name," cruising, and clinging tightly to the life preserver of God's promises that last forever.
