ON THE RISE Part 2 of 7
Khutbah in Perth City organized by Perth City Musallah Association 10/09/2021
So let us assume that we are now ‘On The Rise’ Insha Allah. And just want to highlight that I am talking about us and not about Islam because Islam is ‘On The Rise’ already alhamdulillah. What do I mean?
If we look around, if we look at places where Muslims are in majority and also places where Muslims are in minority, we find more and more Muslims coming back to Islam, we find more and more Muslims wanting to work for Islam. We will see Muslim Organisations in Economics, Politics, Organisations for Women, Muslim Media, Newspapers, Satellite etc etc. We see this all over. Hence we know that this is the tide coming up. We know that Islam is ‘On The Rise’ Biidhnillahi Ta’ala.
While we are attempting or trying to rise up, some of us could be crawling, some walking by taking baby steps, some walking normally, some jogging and some sprinting etc. Irrespective of whether we are at the bottom of the ladder or at the top, there is something we always need to be alert and cautious about, something that with which if we mess around, it can throw us out of Islam and thus we will end up loosing the Akhirah and none of us can afford to loose the Akhirah. And that thing is SHIRK. So today’s khutbah is once again related to this.
