Description

How does our level of connection with our parents in childhood shape us as adults?

Should you deal with your emotions right away?

Is it unrealistic to want to be happy and positive all the time?

Join me and Prab as we discuss this as well as:

• How our childhoods lacked a focus on emotions and mental health

• The importance of welcoming all emotions- “good” or “bad”

• The balance in dealing with your emotions to avoid burnout

• What it takes to be more comfortable with setting boundaries

In her work, Prab provides resources to parents to help support their child’s mental health. This allows the parents to be able to connect with their child on a more emotional level which makes the child comfortable to open up.

She is passionate about building relationships within the community.
She loves sharing her knowledge around Lifespan Development. Prab has a Regulatory Role upholding legislation, she teaches post-Secondary students and facilitates Professional Development workshops for families, the community and teachers.

She has been an advocate for quality Child Care for a decade and a half. Prab brings awareness to Mental Health by discussion topics that are uncomfortable.
