Description

What if you used the same mindset for physical recovery that you did for mental health recovery?

How similar is therapy for physical and mental health?

In this episode, Ankur and I discuss:

• Why others may have a hard time helping us.
• What you can do check in on someone
• Why you can’t do it alone and should ask for help.
• When you should avoid telling others you are feeling down
• Should you go out when you are feeling down?

Ankur Varma, LCPC has his Master of Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University. For over 10 years, Ankur has worked in various leadership positions in community mental health and education to advocate for mental health services in Chicago.
