Pl: W zasnutym śniegiem mieście stał stary sierociniec.
En: In a snow-covered city stood an old orphanage.
Pl: W środku panowała ciepła atmosfera, mieszanka zapachu świeżo pieczonego piernika i szeleszczących światełek, które delikatnie migały na oknach.
En: Inside, there was a warm atmosphere, a mix of the scent of freshly baked gingerbread and rustling lights that gently twinkled on the windows.
Pl: Był to czas przedświątecznych przygotowań.
En: It was a time of pre-Christmas preparations.
Pl: Aniela, mała dziewczynka o bujnej wyobraźni, miała jedno marzenie.
En: Aniela, a little girl with a vivid imagination, had one dream.
Pl: Pragnęła, aby tegoroczne święta przyciągnęły do sierocińca cudowną rodzinę.
